Bill, not sure how I'm going to fix it. Didn't know if replacing the lower section with a brass fitting would cause an electrolysis issue.

Stay away from brass and bronze. Use marelon, glass fiber reinforced nylon. Use 5200 to bed the fitting. Use 2 all-stainless hose clamps.
