It looks like a marriage between the original design and the fisherman model. Maybe this was the first of the fisherman models?
The hull probably hydroplanes with those engines!!! Sweet ride.

Not 426 Hemis. If they were I'm sure that boat would have been scrapped long ago for the motors.

Welcome aboard ! Although I live in Northern Ohio, I have heard rumors of her. The story I heard was that she was built for one of M's executives, that's why she has the big engines & creature comforts. Being a gearhead, would love to see a photo of the engine room.

I saw that boat for sale - that is very unique. The one I just bought is a 1973, 32 foot Fisherman. I also, have not seen a boat quite like this one with the fly pushed all the way up front. Leaves lots of space for seating up top, and of course a large rear deck.

Javalin here is a shot of the port engine from above. Pretty tight. There is an access panel in front of each engine from the interior. On the starboard it is easy to get to. On the port you would have to remove the marine head to access. Not to good

Leviathon that is a really sharp boat. I love the lines and frankly like it better than the design of mine. In regard to your flybridge being pushed to the front I will give you the explanation I was given years ago. I was in Florida looking at two similar boats both with"flybridges", one at the very rear and the other at the front like yours. The broker told me that the one at the rear was a true "flybridge fishermen". His explanation was that in big water catching big fish the captain wanted to be able to see down on the deck to see the guy who was reeling in the fish so he could back down or forward to assist in the catch. He described the other like yours as a "sedan bridge". True or not it sounded reasonable.
