I have a 32' sedan fb, the engines are raw water cooled. Do I need to install a confined cooling system or can I run with the fresh water system, if so what precautions do I need to take?

Boating in salt water with raw water cooling not a very good idea. You know salt and cast iron

If the boat has been in salt water since day one and the previous owner has not freshwater flushed the engines after each use you can probably scrap out them puppies.
If it is new to salt water I would defiantly look at installing a closed system. There are a few available on websites. They ant cheap but neither are new engines
They do make flushing kits for raw water cooled engines or you can make your own set up
